Anita Gibson

Deputy Project Director (Save the Children)

Ms. Gibson leads the development of MCSP’s centrally funded strategic plan, supports the overall management of the program, and oversees multiple country programs. She has more than 20 years of experience designing and managing health programs – particularly those focused on maternal, newborn and reproductive health issues. In addition to her work with USAID-funded programs and with USAID, Ms. Gibson has managed programs funded by the UN Foundation and has served as a reviewer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Reproductive Health Matters, and the journal Global Health: Science and Practice. She has lived and worked in East and West Africa and South Asia, and holds a master’s degree from New York University.
