MCSP Director co-authors blog: “Where are Mothers and Newborns in the Post-2015 Era?”

A new blog from Dr. Koki Agarwal, Dr. Ana Langer, and Joy Riggs-Perla — leadership of the Global Maternal Newborn Health Conference co-convening partners — clarifies the goals for mothers and newborns under the newly begun Sustainable Development Goals.

Highlighting 10 critical actions for these vulnerable groups, the authors discuss a renewed emphasis on equity and integration, and a new policy framework that “represents a historic opportunity to build on progress, while addressing the limitations of the Millennium Development Goals.”
