October 16th: Long-Acting Reversible Contraception and Permanent Methods

Posted September 14, 2018

The Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARCs) and Permanent Methods Community of Practice invites you to join a “deep dive” technical consultation to explore trends, barriers and solutions to continued expansion of contraceptive implant availability, including engaging the private sector. Hosted by MCSP and USAID’s Sustaining Health Outcomes through the Private Sector (SHOPS) Plus, this daylong event will feature presentations from researchers and implementers, small group subject matter consultations, an information marketplace, and a panel discussion on financing the future of implants.

Attendees will leave with a thorough understanding of where we are with implants as a global community, the challenges that remain, and concrete ideas for potential solutions. Please join us as we reflect on how data-driven innovation and continued engagement of the private sector — both not-for-profit and commercial actors — can help us maintain the global momentum for implants, improving access and expanding contraceptive choice for women.
